The New York State Police at Ellenville announce the arrest of Tracy G. Vierra, age 52, of Oceanside, N.Y., for the felony charges of Unlawful Imprisonment 1st , Assault 2nd , and three counts of Criminal Possession of Weapon 3rd. . Vierra was also charged with the misdemeanor offense of Menacing 2nd.
Vierra was arrested and charged subsequent to an investigation in which he was found to have had physically assaulted a female acquaintance and threatened her with a shotgun this past weekend at his hunting camp in Wawarsing, N.Y. A search of Vierra’s hunting camp yielded two shotguns that were altered and defaced.

Vierra was taken into custody and transported to SP Ellenville where he was processed and arraigned in the Town of Wawarsing before Town Justice Charles Dechon. Vierra was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash or $100,000 certified bond.
